Republican supporters of the bill act like there is no rational reason to limit immigrants by nation of origin. But of course, there are ample reasons to do so, and Republican sell-outs simply ignore them. Importing tens or hundreds of thousands of migrants from a single country every year greatly inhibits integration. Foreigners coming in large numbers face no pressure whatsoever to adapt to the country they have arrived in. Furthermore, allowing limitless immigration from a single country encourages employers and visa brokers to create a streamlined process to shove as many workers from the same place as possible into America. The new process will not encourage the recruiting of specialist, hard-to-find talent. It will instead import a lower-paid, compliant body of working serfs, which is exactly what it was always intended to do.
After a year of COVID-19 job losses, America doesn’t need more Indian H-1Bs, and it doesn’t need to clear a green card “backlog.” What America needs is fewer green cards and work visas, across the board, and a focus on uplifting actual Americans.
It’s completely fitting that H-1Bs overwhelmingly come from India. The entire project is intended to create a caste system in America. And every single Senate Republican just voted for it.

“On the evening of December 2, led by Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah), the GOP quietly convened, avoiding public hearings, and gave their unanimous consent agreement for an amended version of S. 386, the “Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act.”
“Under the bill, those on a long-term temporary visa who can secure a job offer requiring a college degree will, after a wait of 270 days, be able to obtain a three-year renewable work permit and permission to travel in and out of the country,” explains Jessica M. Vaughan, director of policy studies for the Center for Immigration Studies.
“It will be a status comparable to permanent residency with a green card, but without having to wait in line or be restricted by annual immigration limits,” she adds. “It will potentially apply to hundreds of thousands of people each year, including foreign students, exchange visitors, NAFTA workers, investors, and more.”
“Senator Lee’s bill would create the biggest train wreck to our legal immigration system,” Kevin Lynn, executive director US Tech Workers, told American Greatness. “Not only that, but it would generate an even greater traffic of cheaper labor coming from abroad with the promise of permanent EAD work permits and eventual green cards for nationals from just one or two countries.”
In December, 2019 Stephen Miller made a promise: “S.386 is dead on arrival.”
But then, a year later, when country is in pandemic and millions of fellow Americans are Unemployed: BOOM! S.386 FLIES! Very Impressive!
“The right-wing anchor asked Miller: “In the Senate, there is a Senate Bill 386… the rights for legal immigrants legislation that would double… the H-1B visas and in so doing it … most of those visas [will go to citizens of] China and to India. And it’s also sponsored by [Utah Republican Sen.] Mike Lee and signed on to by a host of otherwise, generally reasonable people, previously. Is the president going to veto the damn thing?”
Miller responded: “Well, I don’t think that bill, as currently written, is going to be passing the Senate anytime soon.”
