On August 5, 2020 Senator Mike Lee once again attempted to pass S386, “Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2019” by Unanimous Consent. Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) objected, primarily because it does not protect Hispanic immigrants from Latin America entering Florida.
